My Story
It started with one Small Garden

About
My business has its roots in the early experiences I had with my grandfather, beginning at the age of seven. Together, we worked at farmer's markets and visited large Amish gardens as well as tended to his expansive hosta garden. These summers spent learning from him cultivated a profound passion for gardening within me.
On my 8th-grade graduation, I requested my grandfather’s assistance in creating my own garden—a pivotal moment that cemented my aspiration to pursue a career related to horticulture.
As I delved deeper into gardening, my desire to cultivate my own plants grew. Initially, I focused on growing vegetables and herbs; this gradually expanded to include cut flowers. Leveraging connections and resources, I utilized leftover floral stems from weddings and events. This experience allowed me to uncover a passion for creating arrangements and provided an opportunity to further refine my skills in floral design.
My passion for this field, deeply rooted in my personal experiences, inspired me to pursue a degree in Plant Sciences at the University of Missouri, with a focus in Horticultural Sciences and Design, earning a certificate in Floral Design, and minor in Entrepreneurial Business. Now in my second year of study, I have gained substantial knowledge and anticipate the completion of my degree.
